TOMmie Awards recognise Kimberly-Clark Australia’s Consumer Marketing Team
Team AFC accept the '2016 Marketing Team of the Year' award
Kimberly-Clark's Adult & Feminine Care (AFC) brand have taken out the 2016 ‘Marketing Team of the Year’ award at the recent TOMmies (Truly Outstanding Marketing Awards) Awards, with the Baby & Child Care (BCC) brand awarded ‘Best Adopt and Adapt’ award for the Second Hug commercial campaign.
The Tommies (Truly Outstanding Marketing Awards) held in December 2016, recognise creative campaigns, strategic innovations and teams who have achieved outstanding business results within the marketing industry, throughout the Asia Pacific region.
The AFC brand secured the honour of ‘Marketing Team of the Year’, based on their demonstrated outstanding marketing capabilities and business results and building capability in self, team and organisation.
AFC brands had a great year in 2016. In Feminine Care, U by Kotex enjoyed the continued success of the Sports Ultrathins launch, combined with the Core “Move On” Commercial program.
In Adult Care, the brand executed an upgrade on Poise pads with a supporting commercial program, while Depend saw an important product and packaging upgrade along with a corresponding commercial program and outstanding field support.
For the category of ‘Best Adapt and Adopt’, the BCC Marketing brand put forward the local adaption of the Point Of Market Entry (POME) Second Hug Commercial Program idea and assets.

The award was judged based on a campaigns relevance of adapt and adopt and business results (NSV & Share Growth).
