Kimberly-Clark’s Poise® partners with Share the Dignity to help women in need

Kimberly-Clark Australia’s (KCA) Poise® brand is proud to announce a new partnership with local charity Share the Dignity, who work to ensure every Australian woman, no matter their circumstances have access to basic sanitary items, including incontinence products.

Research suggests that in Australia, 5.1 million people experience some form of bladder leakage (67% of which are women), and our mission as a brand is to restore dignity to these women and give them back control over their lives. We echo Share the Dignity’s belief that no woman should have to suffer the indignity of going without sanitary items at a time when she needs it the most.

By joining forces through an official partnership, we will be able to ensure women in need have access to the correct products to manage their condition.  It is not uncommon for women experiencing bladder leakage to be using feminine hygiene products for protection (39% are not using the right product for their bladder leakage), instead of incontinence pads which have been designed specifically for this purpose.

How are we getting involved?

Every year, we will be donating 4 pallets of Poise incontinence products to Share the Dignity’s campaign drives in April and August. Further donations will be made as opportunities arise.
